Peter has also worked as an Education Officer with the former English National Board for Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visiting. Until his retirement Peter held the Chair in Health Studies at the University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, UK. For nine years he was Editor-in-Chief of Nurse Education Today, a position he relinquished in 2002.
