MICKEY TRESCOTT, NTP takes delight in coming up with innovative ways to prepare, cook, and succeed on allergen-free diets. She is the co-author of The Autoimmune Wellness Handbook, an award-winning book advocating for a whole-life approach to autoimmune healing, and the author of The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook, a best-selling guide to the Autoimmune Protocol. Mickey works as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner with people from all around the world. She is a co-creator and co-teacher of AIP Certified Coach, an advanced health care practitioner training program. Mickey launched AutoimmuneWellness.com in 2012, a website that currently provides recipes, tools, and support for living well with autoimmune disease and chronic illness to millions of readers each year.

Mickey can be found riding horses on her family's farm, obsessively knitting a pair of socks, or thinking out how to build a non-toxic, sustainable home when she isn't getting wild in the kitchen or researching wellness research. Her husband Noah, cat Savannah, and horse Bear live in Oregon's Willamette Valley.
