Examines global trends in nutrition, and investigates the eating patterns of other cultures as they relate to the prevention and treatment of chronic degenerative diseases. Dr Zuzana Bic, P.H. (Loma Linda University), MUDr. (King Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic) is the Director of Public Health Practice Activities in the Department of Population Health and Disease Prevention at University of California, Irvine. She is a Lecturer and co-author of several books, including No More Headaches, No More Migraines; Educating instead of Medicating in Public Health; and Nutrition and Global Health. Dr. Bic appeared on several radio and television shows to discuss headaches and migraines, in addition to being recognized as Lecturer of the Year (2008) and Outstanding Professor (2009, 2010, and 2011) at University of California, Irvine. Her research interests includes the study of the impact and application of lifestyle medicine on slowing the process of aging and developing other chronic degenerative diseases.
