Obtainable Expectations shows the reader how to apply the principles of the Sermon on the Mount in one's life and ministry.Pastor Steve and his family came from Kansas City to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, in 1994 with the goal of building an aggressive congregation-planting church. Church at the Gate, with its varied ministries, campuses, and subsidiary churches, grew out of that vision and call. His goal is to facilitate church-planting movements, with the goal of seeing a large number of local life-giving churches spring up across the country and around the world--a goal reflected in his doctoral program. Based on 1 and 2 Timothy and Titus, he wrote Obtainable Destiny (Creation House) in 2004. Caleb, Thomas, and Kaitlyn, his three teenagers, are his and Kristen's children.
