He is the founder of the Jordi Sierra i Fabra Foundation, which seeks to help adolescents in Barcelona and Medellin, Colombia, who wish to become writers. Fernando Vicente is an award-winning illustrator and a frequent contributor to Babelia, the cultural supplement of the Spanish newspaper El Pais. He is the illustrator of El extrano caso del Doctor Jekyll y Mr. Hyde, El manifiesto comunista, La saga de Eirik el Rojo, and El valle del miedo.
