Award-winning author Stella Blackstone has written many of Barefoot’s best-selling titles, including the Bear series, the Cleo the Cat series and My Granny Went to Market. Sunny Scribens is a picture book editor and author. She has also written Space Song Rocket Ride for Barefoot Books. She lives with her husband and young daughter, who provided much inspiration for Baby's First Words. Stephanie Bauer’s canvas animal prints for Oopsy Daisy, a Barefoot partner, continue to be hugely popular in the children’s market. Stephanie lives with her family in Lake Oswego, Oregon.
