Treagus, Roger: - Roger Treagus was born in Sydney to a fashion journalist mother and educated in a privileged private grammar school, where he failed at everything. Assisting his mother in her oddball career inspired Roger to embark on his own career adventure, which spanned five continents in search of that next big job. He started as a sewerage worker, postman and gardener, became a spy, a weatherman, lighthouse inspector and filmmaker, eventually making it as a scientist with a tally of 45 separate jobs so far. Roger now resides on Sydney's Northern Beaches with his medical journalist wife and teenage son.
