Old MacDonald Had a Zoo by Curtis Jobling
Elderly farmer wins lottery! Old MacDonald, of MacDonald's Farm, is the talk of the cattle market and the most eligible pensioner in the paddock. With wellington boots, a jaunty flat cap and a spanking new muck-thrower topping his shopping list, lottery winner Old MacDonald has one million pounds burning a hole in his dungarees.
Curtis Jobling is probably best known as the designer of Bob the Builder, but he also writes wonderful books for all ages and has been known to illustrate some too! His Wereworld tales are international hits for teens and Frankenstein's Cat is a charming picture book and TV series. He lives in Cheshire with his wife and children. Tom McLaughlin spent nine years as the political cartoonist before becoming an illustrator. Since then he has created many beautiful picture books, including The Diabolical Mr Tiddles and as The Story Machine. He lives in Devon with his wife and two children.
