Old Tree by Brown Ruth
There's panic among the inhabitants of the Old Tree when they discover that the big white cross on the trunk means it's going to be chopped down. What can they do to save it? Fortunately, DIY-fanatic Mr Woodpecker has the answer, and the tree-dwellers realize that if they are to save their home, they must learn to work together. This glorious picture book has a fabulous, interactive pop-up tree on the final page.
