Rick Moody is the author of, among others, The Diviners, The Black Veil, Demonology, The Ice Storm (made into an acclaimed feature film by Ang Lee), and Garden State. He has contributed fiction and essays to the New Yorker, Esquire, the Paris Review, Harper's and the New York Times. He lives in New York.
