
On the Way by Michael Perham
This report studies the catechumenate as an approach to Christian initiation and sees in it an encouraging framework on which a comprehensive way forward could be based. Particular issues relating to the initiation of children are also considered including parental faith, infant baptism, and the perceived difficulties with children receiving communion.
Perham, Michael: - Michael Perham shaped the worship of the Church of England as we know it today. A key architect of Common Worship and formerly the bishop of Gloucester, he was also Chair of SPCK, the Alcuin Club, Ripon College Cuddesdon, WATCH, and a member of the Franciscan Third Order. He died in 2017.
