On This Special Night by Claire Freedman
Mummy Cat and Little Kitten are cuddled up in their barn on a silent winter's night. One by one they are visited by animals travelling to see a stunning bright star in the sky. The cats soon learn that it is a very special night indeed. So they set off to see what the shining star beholds.
Claire Freedman lives on the Essex coast. She has worked for the BBC, Harrods and for a reprographic company and now writes full-time. She has written many children's books, including: One Magical Day; Snuggle Up, Sleepy Ones; and I Love You, Sleepyhead for Little Tiger Press. Simon Mendez was born in York and has loved to draw for as long as he can remember. He took a General Art and Design course at York Technical College and then studied Scientific and Natural History Illustration at Fylde College in Blackpool.
