Norman Dabell, a member of the Association of Golf Writers, has been covering golf since 1979. A former deputy editor of Golf Illustrated, once the oldest golf magazine in the world, he has been a freelance journalist and broadcaster since 1989. He was BBC Radio Five Live's reporter for ten years and currently writes for Reuters news agency and the Daily Telegraph, and broadcasts for BBC Radio Ulster.
