Jamie Rix is the author of Gruesome Tales for Grizzly Kids who won the 'Children's Choice' Smarties Award in 1990 and Johnny Casanova, which was shortlisted for the Lancashire Children's Book Award. He has also written several younger books including a number of picture books; Jamie Rix lives in Tooting, London. As well as writing books his working career has been in the theatre and television. He started work at the Royal Court and has worked on BBC programmes such as Smith and Jones, Teenage Health Freak and How To Be a Little Sod.
