He also experienced many wonderful characters, moments of pure joy, intense emotion and enlightenment that changed him as a human. This book is not only about his adventure, but also about Richard's progress as a person and his battles with his past.

Richard, his wife Flowie, their Newfoundland dog Nelly, and their two cats Frodo and Kiri reside in a little village in East Sussex. After seeing an episode of Long Way Down, he decided to take up riding. He gained freedom as a result of a career move from computer geek to business owner, which he utilizes to indulge in his two passions: being an idiot and blogging about it. May it continue for a long time.
