Anthony Clarke formerly worked for the aerospace industry on human factors problems of the design of aircraft, ships, air traffic control and air defence systems. In 1983, he became a Lecturer at Leicester Polytechnic inhuman-robot and human-computer interaction. Since 1986 he has been at Loughborough University, where, as a Senior Lecturer, he conducts research into human-computer co-operation.
