Hill, William: - After almost thirty years, William Hill is a naturalized northern Nevadan. Bill is a native of Indiana, attended high school in Prairie Village, KS, and college in Nashville, thrived in Bristol, TN, toiled and sweltered in Denton and Dallas, TX, and played and lived in south and north Lake Tahoe, NV. Bill learned to read reluctantly then fell in love with superhero comic books. He added spy-thrillers, Sci-Fi, and fantasy novels to his reading list, tucked in among the required classics. Bill earned a serious degree from Vanderbilt University and a MBA from the University of North Texas. After a house fire and an epiphany, Bill escaped the restrictive drudgery of the corporate world to craft his tales. Along with working in human resources field, Bill has been employed as a bartender, sports official, and a ski patroller. He and his wife, Kat, love to snow ski and visit/hike National Park sites. They live at the foot of the Sierra Mountains in the windy, high desert of the Carson Valley. Dawn of the Vampire was Bill's first novel back in 1991. It was followed by eleven more novels, including The Magic Bicycle, California Ghosting and Vegas Vampires. Bill's comic, SnowJob, can be found on his facebook site and snowjobcomic@blogpost.com. Samples of his novels can be found on the website: otterpress.com. Bill intends to write and draw imaginative fiction and fantasy until dirt is shoveled upon his grave, and beyond if possible.
