
Modern origami pioneer Kunihiko Kasahara studied broadcasting at Nihon University's College of Art, where his interest in origami began. His first book, Origami Book for Mother and Child (Seiko-sha), was displayed at the Japanese pavilion of the Osaka Expo in 1970, and was later packed into a time capsule that will be kept sealed for 5,000 years. He lies in Kanagawa, Japan.
