Osteopathic Approach to Trauma by Jean-Pierre Barral

Jean-Pierre Barral, D.O., was chosen by TIME magazine as one of the most influential people in the world. Innovators: TIME 100 The New Wave, Alternative Medicine, published in 1999, named him one of the top 100 practitioners in alternative medicine to watch in the new millennium. Dr. Barral received his education at Maidstone's European School of Osteopathy. He has produced many osteopathic textbooks and is a well-known physician and teacher in his own France and throughout Europe. Visceral Manipulation (co-authored with Pierrre Mercier, D.O. ), Visceral Manipulation II, The Thorax, Urogenital Manipulation, Manual Thermal Assessment, and, most recently, Trauma: An Osteopathic Approach are among his English-language books.

Dr. Barral is the Academic Director of the International College of Osteopathy in Saint Etienne, France, and the Chairman of the Faculty of Medicine at Paris du Nord's Department of Visceral Manipulation. At Grenoble, France, he practices osteopathy.
