Alex Robinson is a London-based award-winning writer and photographer. In 2007, he was runner-up in the Friends of the Earth International Photography Award, and he received a Brazilian Press Award for the anniversary edition of Latin America's travel magazine Viagem e Turismo, as well as a US National Magazine Award for Departures Magazine's Fall 2006 edition. Departures, Budget Travel, National Geographic, the Financial Times, Wanderlust, the Discovery Channel, Al Jazeera, and the BBC are among the periodicals, publishers, and broadcasters with which he has collaborated.
