Our House Is on Fire by Greta Thunberg

This book is an economically priced version of THE ENDURING VISION, Eighth Edition ((c)2014). The Advantage Edition offers readers the complete narrative while limiting the number of photos, tables, and maps. Its engaging presentation integrates political, social, and cultural history within a chronological framework. Known for its focus on the environment and the land, the book is also praised for its innovative coverage of cultural history, public health and medicine, and the West--including Native American history. The eighth edition incorporates new scholarship throughout, includes a variety of new photos, and brings the discussion fully up to date with coverage of the 2012 presidential campaign.
Greta Thunberg was born in 2003. In August 2018 she started a school strike that became a movement called Fridays For Future, which has inspired school strikes for climate action in more than 150 countries involving millions of students. Thunberg has spoken at climate rallies across the globe, as well as at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the U.S. Congress, and the United Nations. In 2019, she was named Time's Person of the Year. Thunberg is vegan, and doesn't fly, in order to live a low-carbon life.
