The Owl Who Could Only Growl by Elizabeth Green

Clarence is a happy little owl that lives with his family. He spends his nights hooting away and eating his favourite owl treats. But one day Clarence wakes up and finds that he can't hoot any more. Instead of a twit twoo he can only growl like a bear. Poor Clarence doesn't know what to do. He feels very unhappy about the sound that he is making and can't understand why his happy hoot has gone away. With the help of his family, Clarence realises that nobody feels happy all of the time and it is actually ok to not feel ok. Will Clarence get his happy twit twoo back or will he only ever be able to growl? The Owl Who Could Only Growl is a story about learning how important it is to express your feelings.
