Chris Baldick is an English professor at Goldsmiths College, University of London. He has produced various books of literary history, including The Modern Movement (Oxford, 2004), the Oxford Dictionary of Literary Terms (2008), and Decadence: An Annotated Anthology (Manchester, 2012), which he co-edited with Jane Desmarais.
