Tom McArthur is an independent writer, editor, consultant, and presenter, as well as the editor of English Today: the International Review of the English Language, a Cambridge University Press quarterly publication. He is the Deputy Director of the Dictionary Research Centre and an Honorary University Fellow at the University of Exeter, as well as the General Editor of R.R.K. Publishing. Hartmann is a member of the Exeter Language and Lexicography series. He is the editor of The Oxford Companion to the English Language and has authored over 20 books.
