I am totally impressed with the effort that Andrew Allott and David Mindorff put into this latest edition to align with the new syllabus that is being introduced this upcoming year. I have been teaching Biology for 44 years, both in the US and internationally, and during my career I have used many different editions presenting AP, IB and IGCSE syllabi. This edition is well organized, loaded with beautifully coloured illustrations and photos, and like the previous editions, the inclusion of assessment-based questions with marking values, and internal assessment suggestions, compliments this book. Andrew Allott was an IB Diploma student in 1974. He has since acted as an IB Advisor and worked extensively on IB curriculum review. He is currently Head of Biology at Shrewsbury School, UK. David Mindorff is an IB Coordinator and Head of Academics at Lyford Cay International School, Bahamas.
