The lord of Mantua, Prince Lodovico, invites the eminent painter Andrea Mantegna to his palace to decorate one of the rooms. The painting is very slowly completed and the prince's secretary records its progress in his diary, which also features gossip about what is going on in the palace.Inger Christensen (1935-2009), whose work is regarded as a cornerstone of modern Scandinavian poetry, received numerous international honors, including the Swedish Academy's Nordic Writers' Prize, also known as the Little Nobel. It, alphabet, Butterfly Valley, and Light, Grass, and Letter in April are among her works.
