A highly educated scientist realizes that he doesn't know anything about tigers. He begins studying them until he can rattle off every tiger fact imaginable. But when he hires a guide to take him to see a real-live tiger, the scientist discovers he may not quite know everything about them.Sylvain Alzial was born in Monaco. He has been writing children's books since 2013 and makes his English language debut with Panthera Tigris. When he's not writing, Sylvain produces documentaries and programs on world music for Radio France. He lives in Paris. Hü¾Ž–”¼lü¾Ž†”¼ne Rajcak studied illustration at the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris. She also has a background in engraving and textile design. Her previous books include Small and Tall Tales of Extinct Animals (Lerner). She lives in Paris.
