A shock suicide exposes a large gambling deal and Xavier's cash is lost. Rick sends Claire to investigate and she finds Stone's corrupt money. Stone is forced to visit a Caribbean island where marijuana is grown. He must bring back half a million US dollars, which he then hides in the ruins of Arrow Hall. Claire keeps Stone's Panama codes so he calls on Rick and spills her past. Will Rick say goodbye to Claire? Will Xavier hunt Stone down? The future of Arrow Hall certainly looks bleak...

Ron Welling lives in St Martin, Jersey and is a retired Chartered Accountant after a successful career in private practice and large international companies. He is involved in charitable work and enjoys writing. His first novel, The Price received great reviews and The Paper Chase is much anticipated by Ron's readers.
