He is the author of more than 30 books of poetry for children and adults. Charles lives in Homewood, Alabama, with his wife, Debra, and their son, Chip. Jon Goodell has filled many children's books with his beautiful and cheerful illustrations, including Zigazak!; Mother, Mother, I Want Another; and Andiamo, Weasel! He lives in Norman, Oklahoma.
