Neben zahlreichen Fachveroffentlichungen hat er auch mehrere Sachbucher geschrieben. Thomas Jessell ist Professor fur Biochemie und Molekulare Biophysik, Mitglied des Center for Neurobiology and Behavior sowie Forschungsmitglied des Howard Hughes Medical Institute am Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics des University of Columbia Medical Center in New York. Er ist Co-Autor der Principles of Neural Science und des bei Spektrum Akademischer Verlag auf Deutsch erschienenen Lehrbuches Neurowissenschaften. Peter Lawrence lehrt und forscht in der Zellbiologischen Abteilung des Medical Research Council Laboratory of Molecular Biology im englischen Cambridge. Er hat das Buch The Making of a Fly geschrieben. Elliot Meyerowitz ist George-M.-Beadle-Professor fur Biologie und Leiter der Division of Biology des California Institute of Technology in Pasadena. Elizabeth Robertson ist Professorin am Wellcome Trust Centre for Human Genetics der University of Oxford. Jim Smith ist Vorsitzender des Wellcome Trust / Cancer Research UK Gurdon Institute of Cancer and Developmental Biology im englischen Cambridge.
