Helen Brooks began writing in 1990 as she approached her 40th birthday! She realized her two teenage ambitions (writing a novel and learning to drive) had been lost amid babies and hectic family life, so set about resurrecting them. In her spare time she enjoys sitting in her wonderfully therapeutic, rambling old garden in the sun with a glass of red wine (under the guise of resting while thinking of course). Helen lives in Northampton, England with her husband and family. English author, Elizabeth Power was first published by Mills and Boon in 1986. Widely travelled, many places she has visited have been recreated in her books. Living in the beautiful West Country, Elizabeth likes nothing better than walking with her husband in the countryside surrounding her home and enjoying all that nature has to offer. Emotional intensity is paramount in her writing. "Times, places and trends change," she says, "but emotion is timeless." Kathryn Ross is a professional beauty therapist, but writing is her first love. At thirteen she was editor of her school magazine and wrote a play for a competition, and won. Ten years later she was accepted by Mills & Boon, who were the only publishers she ever approached with her work. Kathryn lives in Lancashire, is married and has inherited two delightful stepsons. She has written over twenty novels now and is still as much in love with writing as ever and never plans to stop.
