FRITJOF CAPRA is a Ph.D. candidate. He holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the University of Vienna and has published and taught widely on the philosophical implications of modern science. The Web of Life, The Turning Point, and Uncommon Wisdom are his books. He resides in Berkeley, California, with his wife and daughter as the director of the Center for Ecoliteracy.
