Pen and Wash (SBSLA22) by Robert Jennings
Merging and blending washes of colour with fluid, definite linework enhances and strengthens a watercolour painting - whether you paint within the outline, or just suggest form in a rugged landscape. Bob Jennings illustrates the techniques with energy and enthusiasm - showing how to create a scene, define detail and add texture. Practical step-by-step demonstrations illustrate how to build up a painting, and inspirational paintings shows how the techniques can be adapted to create new pictures.
Robert Jennings is a graphic designer who has been painting and taking photographs for more than half a century. He has travelled extensively, having lived in India, East and West Africa.
