Gary Owen’s plays include Crazy Gary’s Mobile Disco, The Shadow of a Boy, The Drowned World and Ghost City. Most recently he’s written Love Steals Us From Loneliness, part of National Theatre Wales’ debut season, Blackthorn for Theatr Clwyd and Mrs Reynolds and the Ruffian for the Watford Palace Theatre, as well as being co-creator and writer of the BBC Wales TV series, Baker Boys. His work has won the George Devine Award, the Meyer Whitworth Award, the Pearson Best Play Award and a Fringe First at the Edinburgh Festival, has been translated into a dozen languages and produced all over the world.
