Ideas for using accessories to suggest the essential shape or form of a period costume and how to adapt simple but versatile patterns to create specific effects is also covered.
Tina Bicat has worked for the royal National Theatre, New York City Ballet, English National Opera and for film and television. Her work has included large-scale productions with casts of hundreds, one-man shows, mask and carnival effects, as well as more traditional costume.
