Perseus and the Gorgon by Lesley Sims

Perseus and the Gorgon by Lesley Sims

The traditional Greek myth specially retold for children growing in reading confidence. Perseus is determined to rescue Andromeda, even though it means facing the hideous Gorgon, Medusa, whose glare turns warriors to stone. Perfect for children whose reading ability and confidence allows them to tackle longer and more complex stories. Developed in consultation with reading experts from Roehampton University.

"Irresistible for children learning to read" - Child Education Plus; "The Usborne Young Reading Program has a lovely selection of classic tales adapted for younger readersGraded in seven levels, these have just enough stretch in them and yet are not too overwhelming" - The Irish Sunday Independent; "Crack reading and make confident and enthusiastic readers with this fantastic reading programme" - Julia Eccleshare
