Her work experience includes time spent as a law student, an independent editor, a medical intern, and an archaeologist. She is the author of the young adult paranormal series The Unearthly, as well as the new adult science fiction book The Vanishing Girl. She is currently working on the sequel from her home in Santa Barbara, where she lives with her fiance, author Dan Rix.
