A unique collection of 285 amateur photographs
'images chosen for their atmosphere and sense of humanity as well as for their quality as pictures'
Sunday Herald
'Reading this book is like walking past houses at night time and watching through the brightly lit windows of other people’s homes … It is like a small anthropology of the ‘ordinary’ … The beauty of this publication is the fact that each picture has its own history, and stands almost as a chapter in itself. The proverbial one thousand words, perhaps.'

'The unatributed Cartier-Bresson-like amateur snapshots in Photo Trouvée (Phaidon), edited by Michael Frizot and Cedric de Veigy, are all the more inspiring to seasonal shutterbugs for their anonymous immediacy.'
