Physics in the Life Sciences by George Duncan

This book has been written to provide students of biology with an understanding of the principles of physics and their relevance to other studies. Previously entitled "Physics for Biologists", the revised edition continues the approach of the earlier edition and is similarly illustrated with relevant worked examples. In this new edition more emphasis is given to the application of physics to modern medicine, including imaging techniques (NMR), and to computing.
