Pigeon Pie Oh My! by Debbie Singleton
Down on Budd's Farm the scarecrow has been stripped bare by a naughty goat, leaving the cornfield unprotected from five passing pigeons. But Tiny Chick has a plan to outwit them all!
Debbie Singleton is a new author. She started her career working on a North Sea oil rig as a petroleum engineer after completing a degree in Chemical Engineering at Cambridge University. She moved on to more inviting places, including Texas, Alaska and Trinidad. She now lives in Australia with her husband and two daughters. Her first picture book, The King Who Wouldn't Sleep, is illustrated by Holly Swain and published by Andersen Press. Kristyna Litten studied
Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated in 2010. She learnt to design and create for a wide range of subject matter, often enjoying collaborations with graphic designers, costume designers
and writers. She now lives in a beautiful village in Yorkshire where she is heavily reliant on the good old pencil and a great big cup of tea to keep her going, whilst habitually singing, whistling, or twiddling her hair. She prefers to draw quickly with crayon to give an energetic line quality to her illustrations, often adding colour or other hand-produced textures digitally. Her sophisticated colour palette, interest in pattern and hand drawn typography give Kristyna's work originality and
strong identity.
