Pinocchio by Stephanie Dragone
Once upon a time there was a lonely old man called Gepetto, who had no children. Gepetto wished that he had a son to love and keep him company, so he carved himself a puppet that looked just like a little boy. He called his puppet Pinocchio. This modern re-telling of Carlo Collodi's classic moral tale has been adapted so it is the perfect length for a bedtime story. With fun, playful illustrations by Jennie Poh, this picture book edition of Pinocchio has been written for children age 3 and up.
Following a globe-trotting career in the casino industry, Stephanie Dragone decided to embrace her creativity and studied for a double major in Literature and Creative Writing at Deakin University in Australia. Steph's version of the Pinocchio was her first published children's book, swiftly followed by I Love My Mummy - a touching tale celebrating one of the most special bonds in the world. Jennie was born in England and grew up in Malaysia (in the jungle). Pen and paper by her side at all times, she loved drawing princesses and writing stories. Jennie enjoys drawing quirky beautiful girly stuff and cute animals and works with ink, watercolour, collage, origami paper and pencils. She also cooks a mean curry!
