E. Raymond Raymond E. Raymond E. Raymond E. Raymond Fancher is a Senior Scholar at York University in Toronto and an Emeritus Professor. York's Ph.D. program was founded by one of its founders. He has held top administrative posts with the Society for the History of Psychology (Division 26 of the American Psychological Association) and Cheiron (The International Society for the History of Behavioral and Social Sciences), as well as serving as editor of the Journal of the History of the Behavioral Sciences. He is the author of Psychoanalytic Psychology: The Evolution of Freud's Thinking and The Intelligence Men: Creators of the IQ Debate (both Norton), as well as approximately 100 additional books on the history of psychology, and the Society for the History of Psychology's Lifetime Achievement Award.
