Chris Mould started art school when he was sixteen years old. He worked a variety of jobs throughout this time, from delivering newspapers to doing the dishes. He received the Nottingham Children's Book Award and was nominated for the Sheffield Children's Book Award. He enjoys his job and enjoys writing and drawing the types of books that he would have enjoyed having on his shelves as a child. He lives in Yorkshire with his wife and two children.
