He's also the author of Dante, Valedor, and the Imperial Battle Tanks novels Baneblade and Shadowsword in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Skarsnik, the eponymous Warhammer fantasy tale, as well as The Rising of the Horned Rat, the End Times novel, were both inspired by his love of all things greenskin.
