Planet Wine is the first book to describe how the diversity of wine styles has deepened as a result of generations of winemakers using different grape varieties to extend their range of tastes and textures.
Stuart Pigott was born in London and settled in Berlin in 1993. He has written numerous books on wine and is a regular contributor to Frankfurter Allegemeine Sonntagszeitung, Der Feinschmecker/WeinGourmet, the Los Angeles Times, Decanter (UK), and WINE (Australia). Stuart appears regularly on German television. He lives in Berlin.
