Barry Cullingworth of Planning in the USA, 2nd ed. (Routledge, 2003). His most current work was serving as editor of the Encyclopedia of the City (Routledge 2005). Roger W. Caves is a Professor of City Planning and Director of the Graduate City Planning Program at San Diego State University (SDSU).
