D'Ann Burrow once told her preschool teacher that she wanted to grow up to be a witch. That single remark marked the beginning of a lifelong fascination with things that go bump in the night. She could often be found with her nose buried in a book as she grew older, and she particularly enjoyed the Nancy Drew series, as well as anything by Christopher Pike or Stephen King. She'd occasionally escape to the world of the classics, where her favorites included The Scarlet Pimpernel and A Little Princess. She has lost track of how many times she has read Little Women.

D'Ann now adores the world of Supernatural, stories about boys with fangs, and disaster movies, and she's never met one she didn't like. She wants to work in the Haunted Mansion when she grows up. Watching Ghost Hunters will have to suffice as research until then. D'Ann is a writer who focuses on people's secrets.

Even the bravest heroine or a man with a golden heart has a few secrets they'd rather not reveal to the world. Things start to get interesting after those secrets are revealed.
