Born in Detroit, he learned himself to draw cartoons by copying the masters from the comic books. Bob entered the realm of character animation after being accepted and graduating from California Institute of the Arts. As an animator, character designer, storyboard artist, and voice actor, he has worked in the industry for over 30 years. His credits include Marvel's Muppet Babies, Turner Animation's Cat's Don't Dance, and Pixar's The Incredibles, among others.
He has worked for Jim Davis, co-penciling the United States of America. Garfield: His 9 Lives and Acres are two of his most recent projects. Molly and the Bear was born in 1997 and became a syndicated webcomic in 2010. It was his heart's desire to have his own comic strip, so he created it. Scott resides in Burbank, California.
