A Pocket Full of Rhyme by Janice Williams
This book is a collection of memories in the form of poems and illustrations about Thomas who sadly passed away on 25th February 2020 from an epileptic seizure in the early hours, aged just 29. He had a daughter, Daisy, who turned 4 years old in April of the same year. The poems are about shared moments between Thomas and Daisy and also between Daisy and her Nanny Janice who is the book's author and illustrator and is intended to help children who have lost a parent to come to terms with their loss.
Janice Griner Williams and Tracey Williams Rey are a mother-daughter writing team residing in Northern California. Having been a military family for over twenty years, they lived and traveled extensively in Europe. Their experiences living abroad have helped them create unique characters and locations for their books. Janice and Tracey discovered a mutual interest in writing and sharing stories. They both love taking their readers on an amazing journey through their strong lists of characters and want to share this gift with their readers. Janice is a proud mother of three and a grandmother of ten. Tracey is the mother of five wonderful children. Coming from a large family of readers, they firmly believe that reading can change a person's perspective on life and is the greatest journey one can take without leaving home.
