Poems About Seasons by Andrew Peters
Which is your favourite season? Do you like the sun in spring, the fun of summer - or do you prefer a crisp autumn or snowy winter? This book takes an irreverent and humorous look at the topics of seasons through poetry which includes a range of poems that are old and new, familiar and fantastical, poems containing patterned and predictable language and ones with more challenging vocabulary.
Andrew Fusek Peters is an Anglo-Czech poet, storyteller, didgeridoo player, broadcaster, anthologist and author with an international reputation. He is the UK's tallest poet (6'8''!!) and has worked in thousands of schools, libraries, arts centres and literary festivals, giving lively performances and running workshops with all ages and abilities.
